STORYTIME:
In February 2024, Canadian singer/songwriter Laurier Lachance took a trip to Monterrey, Mexico. One afternoon, he was filming content at a shopping mall when EDM artist Mich Manzotti suddenly approached him. “Hey, are you making TikToks?” was his opener. They had a brief conversation which resulted in a studio date the very next day where Laurier was to try to sing something over an instrumental track that Mich had already made. Laurier acquired a Dropbox link to this instrumental and spent that evening writing the melody and lyrics to what is now called “Dreamers.” Both Mich and Laurier find it incredibly funny to think back on their initial meeting. If either of them had not been in that specific section of the mall on that specific day, this song would not exist. We hope you like “Dreamers” as much as we do.
